(BEIJING May 23) - Li Meiju took first place with a mark of 18.11 m in the Group B Women's Shot Put Qual. Round at 10:00 Friday morning, on the second day of the Good Luck Beijing China Athletics Open. Vili Valerir secured second place with a mark of 17.88 m. Liu Xiangrong from Menggu took third place with a mark of 17.45 m.
